Empowering through our voices
Supporting education and innovation.
The students of the Spring 2024 Build A Movement (BAM) Labor Program came together to display our works and projects that we created. Working under the BAM Labor Program in relation to University of Washington’s Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies, each student also worked alongside a local union organization to promote their values and ensure fair rights for our community.
This site is consistent of some of our works we completed during out quarter! From a zine, podcast, book club speech, and more, please feel free to check out what we were able to accomplish over the past couple months!
Materials for Learning
Many of the interns created educational tools to further promote the movement for fair and right working conditions. Click the link below to see some of the work they created this past quarter!
Our Internship Work
With over ten different unions and organizations across Washington, each intern is given the opportunity to work with their organization in order to create change.

Support for Communities
Would you like to become involved? Check out the University of Washington Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies website for up to date information!
I would like to take the time to thank Soohyung Hur (she/her) and Sai Ahmed (they/them) for their guidance and support over the BAM internship program this past year. Without them, this program would not have been possible and as rewarding as it was for all of us interns.
